The Sadie Walker Foundation and the SpringPark Board of Directors are hosting Dallas County District Attorney, Judge Susan Hawk, to speak to on the issues and dangers regarding teens and social media.

Children today are the first generation to grow up with the ability to be connected everywhere, all the time. With a continuous online presence comes a greater risk for possible harm and bad choices — often with far reaching consequences. Young children are easily exposed to direct access to predators, sharing of inappropriate images, and online bullying. The goal of this information session is to enlighten parents about some the social, legal and emotional dangers associated with social media and the tools available to help parents mitigate these risks.
